CRAIG CELEBRATES NEBOSH CERTIFICATION
Craig Deamer, Business Development Manager at J V Price,
recently passed his NEBOSH General Certificate Qualification. As usual, he did so
with flying colours.
J V Price is a High Level Window Cleaning Company that provides one of the best
training programmes for their High Level Window Cleaning, and Craig's latest qualification
is part of his Management Level 5 Requirement.
Within the J V Price training programme, window cleaners have an entry level for
those operating in a commercial light industrial environment and primarily working
from the ground or from ladders are expected to achieve Level 2 training matrix
status.
In the High Level Window Cleaning environment, all operatives are expected to achieve
Level 3. Lead Hand Operatives and Supervisors require Level 4, and Managers should
achieve a matrix Level 5.

The NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety was launched in 1989 and
is designed for managers, supervisors and staff from all types of organizations.
It gives a broad understanding of Health and Safety issues, and covers the main
legal requirements for Health and Safety in the UK.
The certificates provide a sound understanding of risk management, including identification
and control of workplace hazards, and the practical application of this knowledge.
Such expertise goes a long way towards promoting the culture of safety that is so
important in high-risk industries.
