J.V. Price Ltd Staff Achieve 100% on NVQ Level 2 Qualification
Working with the Impact43 Group and in conjunction with Merton College and Linden
Management, JVP?s window cleaners have all now achieved their qualification in High
Level Window Cleaning (City and Guilds NVQ Level 2).

How is an NVQ made up?
Each NVQ is made up of a number of units.
Learners complete 6 Units of competence with 3 mandatory units
Each unit covers a different work activity so you can build up to the full qualification
unit by unit. You will be required to undertake a combination of mandatory and optional
units.
Mandatory
Unit 201 Make sure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety
Unit 202 Communicate effectively with customers and others
Then One of the following mandatorys:
Unit 203 Work as a team and develop yourself
Unit 204 Work alone and develop yourself
3 Choices are then made from the following units:
Unit 205 Clean and maintain internal surfaces and areas
Unit 206 Clean and maintain external surfaces and areas
Unit 215 Clean glazed surfaces and facades
Unit 220 Work safely at heights (PSSL Unit 4.1.6)
Unit 221 Use a water-fed pole system to clean windows and facades
